SEW FUN! Each year, MOPHA raffles a quilt for Ways & Means during the National Convention. This year, we are excited to start a quilt-by-the-month project. At the end of March, we will collect quilt blocks or quilt tops and create something beautiful. The blocks will be collected and we will send them off to be quilted. These unique works of art will be unveiled and auctioned during the 2027 National Convention in Missouri.
For our first quilt, we asked YOU what block would you like to make. By majority vote, we have selected the block in #4 Quilt. How fitting that it is based on an Ohio-Star quilt block since our National President is from the Buckeye state!

On the first Saturday of each Month (from October through March), we will introduce a new quilt block. What a fun project to learn a new skill and raise funds for our Ways & Means projects.
We will be using fabric from Hobby Lobby for this nationwide project:
-Red Linen Texture Calico Cotton Fabric 1/8 Yard SKU: 2520344
-Blue Linen Texture Calico Cotton Fabric 1/8 Yard SKU: 2520336
-White Linen Texture Calico Cotton Fabric 1/4 Yard SKU: 2354710
-CONTRAST FABRIC: YOUR CHOICE. Our tutorial example is from Hobby Lobby:
